You may know Lemonade LA from their awesome poke bowls and unique, delicious lemonade drinks, but their offerings go beyond that. We recently got to visit their Inner Sunset location at 1266 9th Ave for an influencer event and got to meet and talk to one of the founders, Ian Olsen. He described the vision and story behind Lemonade LA, which is awesome, and having 28 locations to date speaks for itself. Great company and awesome food? There’s not much better than that!
Although based and founded in Los Angeles, CA, Lemonade LA has multiple locations across the Bay Area with the newest being their Inner Sunset location. The design is sleek and modern, but still homey, comfortable and relaxing with a bit of a beach and Hawaiian vibe.
We got to try one of the newest additions to their menu, the Mango Chicken Bowl! It consists of oven roasted mango chicken, sautéed kale, and seasonal vegetables over warm seasoned rice. The chicken was nice and moist, the kale and vegetables were light and refreshing, and the mango sauce was salty and sweet and brought the plate together. Maybe it’s because we grew up eating it every day, but white rice is the perfect base for any bowl, and it works perfectly in this one.
We also got to try several side dishes to go along with the bowl including Tuscan Kale & Tangerine.
And the Orecchiette Pasta & Cherry Tomatoes
All in all, we definitely enjoyed our visit! Check out the new addition to their menu and don’t miss the poke bowls and all the other great dishes they serve. We’re excited to try the poke bowls the next time we go thanks to a recommendation from one of our foodie buddies, so Lemonade LA is a gift that keeps giving! Till next time, Nomsters!
