If you enjoyed bagel bites growing up, this post may be of interest to you. Bantam Bagels just released mini-stuffed bagels, and you can find ’em in 21,000+ stores across the US. We were excited at the prospect of trying these, but they fell a little short, at least for us.

There are four flavors available:
- Margherita: pizza dough stuffed with marinara, mozz, and basil
- Pepperoni: pizza dough stuffed with pepperoni, marinara and mozz
- Supreme: pizza dough stuffed with pepperoni, sausage, mozz and marinara
- Five cheese: pizza dough stuffed with mozz, provolone, parmesan, romano, ricotta and no sauce
We got their sample pack, priced at $28.95, so there was one of each flavor. You get 32 mini stuffed “pizzas” with your order, and cooking them’s easy peasy. You have the option of either microwaving them or heating them up in an conventional oven.
Baking always tastes better so we threw ’em in the oven for 15 minutes. They’re supposed to be warm and cheesy, but they didn’t have enough filling in our opinion. They were like 75% bread, which would’ve been great if we liked the bread, but it was just ok.
We hear they have some fun pancake and french toast options available so we’d be down to give those a shot, but we probably wouldn’t get these particular bites again.
We grew up eating pizza bagels and rolls so we were hoping this would be a throwback for us, but unfortunately these were a bit of a letdown. Don’t let that deter you from trying them though – maybe you’ll feel differently? If you try ’em, make sure to leave us a comment below to let us know what you thought.
