The Best Happy Hour in Adams Morgan

If you’re a longtime supporter of the NOM blog, you already know that I’m completely and utterly obsessed with The Game/Tiki on 18th.   To be honest, I don’t even know where to start.  For those of you looking to get your happy hour on in AdMo, I can say with complete confidence that they have the BEST happy hour in the area.  And I love that you can order off either menu regardless of where you’re at.

The Game’s located on the bottom floor, and it’s a sports bar.  They have TVs all around so if you’re looking to enjoy some beer and cheer for your favorite team, you know where to go.  Their bar food is ridiculously good, and everything’s $5-7 dollars for HH.  Hit them up from 4-7PM Monday through Friday to take advantage, and scarf down eats like crispy chicken skins, lumpiang, spam and cheese dip, and pinoy chicken sliders, BOOM!

Prefer a more tropical vibe?  Head upstairs to Tiki on 18th, and prepare to be WOWED by their beautiful cocktails + incredible Filipino food.  Jojo’s a freaking wizard in the kitchen so you’re in for a serious treat.  He offers 7 different kinds of lumpia (the Filipino version of spring rolls), a killer pork belly bowl and oh so much more.  FYI, I hear he does some of the best pansit in DC so go and try it for yourself!

It’s honestly shocking to me that Tiki hasn’t blown up on social media yet.  You won’t find cuter cocktails anywhere, like how amazing is this presentation?! The happy hour schedule’s the same as the Game so maybe hit both spots back to back!  I haven’t had a chance to try their ube cheesecake yet, but it’s on my list.  And PS. Jojo offers lechon on the first Monday of each month so mark your calendars, Nomsters.  There’s still so much to try, and I can’t wait to eat through all of their food.

Four more things:  they have a TON of gluten free + vegan options available so there’s something for everyone.  They also have a gorgeous patio out front so that’s gonna be a dope place to hang out once the weather’s nicer.  They have some of the best wings in DC – the spicy mumbo chicken is straight up bonkers.  AND they’re open late (offerings drinks AND food ’til the early morn) with fire DJs spinnin’ on weekends.  Get there.
