Description
These boozy gummy bears soak in chardonnay, Malibu, or vodka until they are plump, fruity, and full of a grown-up kick. A two-ingredient, no-cook party snack.
Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 2 cups gummy bears (Haribo Gold-Bears work great)
- 1 to 1.5 cups alcohol of your choice: chardonnay, Malibu coconut rum, or vodka
Equipment
Instructions
- Add the gummy bears to a bowl or container in an even layer.
- Pour in your alcohol of choice until the bears are fully submerged.
- Press plastic wrap onto the surface, cover the container, and refrigerate for about 48 hours, stirring gently once or twice.
- Once plump and jiggly, drain off any excess liquid if you like, then serve cold. Enjoy responsibly.
Notes
- Use fresh gummy bears; stale ones do not soak as well.
- Keep the bears fully submerged by pressing plastic wrap onto the surface.
- 48 hours is the sweet spot; past 3 days they get too soft and break apart.
- Always soak in the fridge, never at room temperature.
- Vodka bears are best for cocktails; wine and coconut rum bears are best for snacking.
- Keep away from anyone under 21 and enjoy responsibly.
