Top 3 Affordable Lunch Options at The Wharf

The Wharf may be a stunning place to hang, but damn, parking’s a bitch and everything’s expensive.  No worries though because we gotchu.  Here are 3 must try restaurants in the Wharf that won’t break the bank.  Who says you need to pay hella cash to eat like royalty?  Stick with us for amazing eats that’ll leave both your tummy and wallet happy and satisfied.

1.  Grazie Grazie

Expect incredible subs, hearty salads, and other delightful noms.  Kick your meal off with an order of Casey’s risotto balls before going HAM on a sammie.  Build your own or choose from 15+ killer combos.  Some of our personal favorites are as follows:

2.  Falafel Inc

We will forever adore Falafel Inc for more reasons than one!  Their motto’s “eat for good,” and it’s because every time you visit one of their restaurants, you help a refugee.  They’ve partnered with the World Food Programme to feed those in need, and on top of that, their food is insanely tasty and affordable so what’s not to love?

Their menu’s short, like there are less than 10 items listed, but all you need to know is that they have $3 falafel sandwiches, $4 salad bowls, and $3 zaatar fries.  Although we featured their bowls on this episode of Thrillist’s $5 Lunch, we prefer their pita sammie – and by the way, their fries are a must, no if, ands or buts.

Customize your sammich however you please before dousing it with their famous habibi sauce.  Make sure you get a couple of other sauces on the side though – their fries are flavorful AF, but you’ll have fun getting your dip on.

3.  Toastique

Looking to eat clean?  Welp, you’re in luck because this boutique toast and juice bar proves that healthy can be as delicious as anything else.  With everything from fancy avo toasts to beautiful smoothie bowls, their insta-worthy dishes will hit the spot each and every time.

We recommend their avocado smash, but other winners include their smoke salmon and tomato burrata.  Prefer something fruitier?  Give their PB crunch a try!  You can’t go wrong with any of their juices either so make sure you indulge while you’re there.
