Description

A viral summer snack of green and purple grapes tossed in fresh lime juice, rolled in granulated sugar, and frozen into sweet-and-sour bites that eat like a popsicle.

Instructions

  1. Coat in lime by adding the grapes to a mixing bowl and squeezing fresh lime juice from 2 limes over them, tossing until fully coated.
  2. Roll in sugar by putting the granulated sugar in a separate bowl and rolling each grape until thinly coated, then placing them in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking pan.
  3. Freeze the pan of grapes for about 2 hours.
  4. Serve and store straight from the freezer, keeping any extras in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

  • Coat the grapes in lime, then let the excess drip off so the sugar sticks without turning syrupy.
  • Roll in sugar in a dry bowl to keep it from clumping.
  • Freeze in a single layer so the grapes do not clump together.
  • Store frozen in an airtight container for up to a couple of weeks and eat straight from frozen.
