- 1 egg
Equipment
Instructions
1️⃣ Put 12 King’s Hawaiian Rolls into an oven safe pan and use a steak knife to cut out the centers of each roll. Cut about 3/4 of the way down, but not all the way through!
2️⃣ Melt 1/2 cup of butter in the microwave and mix in the brown sugar and cinnamon. Then coat the rolls inside and out with the mixture. Apply generously!
3️⃣ In a medium mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and egg. The cream cheese needs to be soft, so if you’re taking it directly out of the fridge, heat it in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
4️⃣ Use a small spoon to pour the cream cheese mixture into the center of each roll.
5️⃣ Preheat oven to 375 degrees and put the rolls in for 12 minutes.
6️⃣ Take them out, sprinkle some cinnamon on top, and either eat them right away for a warm, runny cream cheese filling, or let them sit for 15 minutes so the filling solidifies.
