Table22 x Pizzeria Paradiso: Making Pizza at Home?!?!

I’m just gonna be straight with you guys.  I’m a GREAT eater but cook?  Yeahhhhh, not so much.  I can do a couple of things in the kitchen but nothing special to write home about.  I’ve been hearing a lot of great things about Table22 though so when Savor PR offered to comp me one of Pizzeria Paradiso’s kits, I jumped at the opportunity.

Now, I would normally never, EVER try to make pizza from scratch, but I figured with a step by step video and ingredient box, I’d be ok.  It ended up being fine… for the most part, lol, and it was a fun thing for me and my mom to do so I definitely recommend the experience.

So, here’s what you get:

  • 1 pizza kit (complete with dough + toppings for two 12″ pizzas AND a step-by-step video from chef/owner Ruth Gresser)
  • An appetizer or salad for 4 (think antipasti, polpette, bruschetta, etc.)
  • 1 rotating pantry item (ie. marinated olives, garlic pesto, etc.)
  • 2 BOGO drink coupons for in-house across their various locations
  • 1 large pizza for the price of a small for dine-in

You get serious bang for your buck because the whole set only costs $50.  Now, did the pizza taste as good as their ‘za in house?  No, but I kind of knew that’d be the case, lol.  I do wish I had a pizza stone prior to my at-home culinary adventure, but I made due with my humble oven + sheet pan.
