Tasty Pot: Level Up Your Hot Pot!

We’re sure you’ve had hot pot many times over the years, but we’re willing to bet you have never had it like they serve it at Tasty Pot! Instead of receiving the raw ingredients and cooking at the table, Tasty Pot prepares everything and bring it out to the table all hot and ready to be devoured. They also have an impressive list of drinks including boba teas, and some delicious side dishes. They already have locations all over the country, but they are still expanding constantly, so let them know if you’d like to see one in your city. Without further ado, let’s get into all the reasons you need to try this place!

Signature Pots

The main attraction at Tasty Pot is their Signature Pots. They have a surprisingly large selection on their menu so you’re sure to find something you’re into, and each one is LOADED with all kinds of deliciousness. One of our favorites is the Kimchi Dumpling Hot Soup, which includes Taiwanese Cabbage, Pork Slices, Kimchi, Dumpling, Vermicelli, Mini Sausage, Shrimp, Enoki, Mushroom, Kamaboko, Tempura, Clam, Fuzhou Fishball, Soft Tofu, Fried Tofu Skin, Zucchini, Imitation Crabmeat, Egg, and Scallion all in their pork bone soup.

Another one that’s worth a try is their Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup, which is crafted with Napa Cabbage, Beef Slices, Fish Fillet, Clam, Pork Aorta, Imitation Crab meat, Tempura, Fishball, Guangtang Beef Ball, Zucchini, Enoki Mushroom, Black Mushroom, Potato Slices, Frozen Tofu, Fried Tofu Puff, Fried Tofu Skin, Vermicelli and Scallion in their Pork bone soup. This one is pretty darn spicy, though, so if your spice tolerance isn’t high, you might want to try the kimchi bowl instead.

Takoyaki at a hot pot joint? Yep, and it’s pretty good! Not quite at the quality of legit takoyaki spots, but it still does the job. If you’re looking for a side to share with the table, try this one out!

Rose Matcha Latte

We mentioned Tasty Pot has a really cool drink menu, and this Rose Matcha Latte was our favorite of the drinks we tried. Their drinks are all on the sweeter side (even the green tea they serve is sweetened), but they all have great flavor and the balance of rose and matcha in this one is great. Be sure to also try the Taro Milk Tea!
