Friends! We recently tried TokyoTreat, a Japanese snack subscription box, and it was so much fun! If you’ve never tried a service like this, basically you receive a monthly box full of Japanese snacks and desserts delivered straight to your door. So, whether you’re interested in immersing yourself in Japanese food culture or reminiscing on the days you spent perusing the konbini aisles in Japan (like us!), these boxes are the perfect way to get your snack on.

Each box comes with 16 Japanese snacks and desserts, as well as a Japan-exclusive drink, so even if you’re lucky enough to have a Japanese market near you, you won’t find a lot of the things Tokyo Treat includes. Among many other things, we got a strawberries n’ cream Calpis, caramel Pocky sticks, and even milk tea flavored KitKats in our box! Or what about trying a bottle of Sakura Pepsi? We were actually super impressed by the uniqueness of the snacks and couldn’t wait to tear open each bag to taste what was inside.

TokyoTreat also makes the perfect gift! Whether you’ve got a friend or family member who loves Japanese culture, or maybe they’re just a foodie who always loves trying new things, these Japanese snacks are an enjoyable and delicious present for any occasion.

They use express shipping and deliver worldwide, so you never have to worry about receiving the Japanese snack subscription box. Each box also comes with full allergen information so you can always feel safe digging in. They also all come with a really cool culture guide, which describes each snack and drink included in the box, and also explains any culturally relevant information related to the current season, upcoming holidays, etc. and how that all relates to flavors and foods eaten at certain times throughout the year in Japan.
