The San Francisco food scene is as diverse as the city itself, and you can pretty much find anything you’re looking for. While some cuisines are stronger than others, there are actually a surprisingly large number of Michelin Star restaurants in San Francisco proper (29 as of April 2023), so not even counting the rest of the Bay Area or Napa/Sonoma Counties. The majority obviously have 1 star, but we wanted to highlight the eight 2- and 3-star restaurants in the city because they’re seriously amazing!
