Description

A viral two-ingredient whipped Dr Pepper: heavy cream whipped with a splash of Dr Pepper and spooned over a tall glass of iced soda for a creamy, floaty dirty-soda treat.

Instructions

  1. Combine cream and soda by pouring the heavy cream and 1/4 cup Dr Pepper into a mixing bowl.
  2. Whip to soft peaks with a hand mixer until fluffy, being careful not to overwhip.
  3. Build the glass by filling a tall glass with ice and pouring in about 3/4 cup Dr Pepper.
  4. Top it off by spooning the whipped Dr Pepper generously over the soda.
  5. Serve immediately with a straw or long spoon while the base is still fizzy.

Notes

  • Use cold heavy cream (and a chilled bowl) for the fluffiest topping.
  • Stop whipping at soft peaks so the cream stays pourable and does not turn grainy.
  • Keep the two Dr Pepper amounts separate: a splash in the cream, the rest over ice.
  • Assemble right before serving so the base stays fizzy and the top stays fluffy.
