K-Mini Plus (best for small apartments)
When I moved into my first tiny apartment after college, this little Keurig coffee maker was a life saver. It’s ultra narrow and was perfect for my total lack of counter space. It’s a single serving machine that you fill with 8, 10, or 12 ounces of water each time, and you can select whether or not you want a regular or strong cup. One thing to note is that this one only works with K-Pods. So if you live in a small apartment or just don’t have much room in your kitchen, definitely consider this one!
Pro tip: I started using a reusable K Cup Pods that I fill with ground coffee and I’ve never looked back!
K-Duo Plus Coffee Maker (best for multiple people with limited counter space)
This one’s a little wider than the K-Mini Plus, but can brew 12 cups with a relatively small footprint, so it’s great for living spaces with limited room in the kitchen and with multiple coffee drinkers. Or even if you live by yourself you still may like this one more than the K-Mini Plus if you drink multiple cups per day. I’ve been seriously considering upgrading to this one since it can get a little tedious having to pour water in and brew a new cup each time I want one. This machine allows you to brew one pot at the start of the day, and pour yourself a cup without having to wait whenever you need a pick-me-up.
K-Cafe (best for variety)
Do you like to switch things up and enjoy a variety of coffee drinks? Well, then the K-Cafe is the perfect Keurig coffee maker for you! It can brew coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos, and the only real downsides are the size and the fact that it’s designed for single cups and can’t brew a pot of coffee. You can choose between 6, 8, 10, and 12 ounce cups or a shot of espresso for the other drinks.
That espresso shot is also perfect for cocktails, and our Whipped Cream Espresso Martini is a great reason to put your K-Cafe to work after 5 pm.
K-Supreme Plus SMART (best for latest technology and most flavorful and aromatic coffee)
If you’re looking for full control over your coffee experience as well as the best quality possible out of a K-Cup Pod, definitely get the K-Supreme Plus Smart! You can customize everything from the amount from 4-12 oz cups, 6 temperature settings, 5 strength settings, and even their Brew ID technology, which recognizes your K-Cup pod and customizes the brew settings based on that. It also has their Multi-stream Technology, which saturates the coffee grounds more evenly than the usually single stream down the middle, and this really brings out the flavor and aroma better than any of the older models. So if the latest and greatest technology and quality of coffee matters to you, this is your machine!
