What’s up, Nomsters! With Halloween just around the corner, we thought it would be a great time to get in the spirit with one of our favorite desserts – cupcakes! Although there may not be as many trick-or-treaters this year for health safety reasons, that doesn’t mean you can’t get excited and whip up something special for the family and kids to still have a nice socially distanced celebration. We’ve compiled a list of our absolute favorite Halloween cupcakes from across the interwebz, so check them out, get some ideas, and be sure to look into all these recipe bloggers because they’re awesome!
1. The Little Epicurean‘s Bloody Red Velvet Cupcakes
This one is a little more PG-13, but we LOVE red velvet cupcakes with that cream cheese frosting, and the “blood” with the knives is a great touch! Get the recipe here.

2. Nicest Things‘ Fledermaus Cupcakes und Spinnen Cupcakes
You can’t help but smile with these cute little critters on top! And they’re so creative despite being so easy to make! Our favorite is definitely the bat. What about you? Get the recipe here.

3. Ashlee Marie‘s Pumpkin Cupcakes
Here’s another relatively simple, yet delicious and super appealing cupcake made to look like pumpkins! A lot of Halloween desserts tend to be dark, and understandably so, but it’s nice to get a pop of light colors in there, too, so this one is perfect for some variation. Get the recipe here.

4. Third Stop on the Right‘s Bloody Halloween Cupcakes
Here’s another one you might want to save for the adults, but if you’re looking to put together a night in with some friends, these would be an amazingly impressive addition to the party! Get the recipe here.

There’s something about flipping the black and orange colors that makes these Halloween cupcakes especially creepy. Put some candles around them in a dark room for full effect! Get the recipe here.

6. The First Year‘s Bubbling Witch’s Cauldron Cupcakes
This one looks more intense to make than it actually is, and it’s a cool idea that breaks from the typical Halloween cupcake designs. If you can get your hands on some dry ice to get that smokey look, you’ve got yourself a top notch presentation! Get the recipe here.

7. Preppy Kitchen‘s Halloween Witch Cupcakes
If you’re up for a challenge, these Halloween cupcakes made to look like witches are a work of art! Get the recipe here.

14. KetoDiet‘s Low Carb Black Heart Halloween Cupcakes
If you thought some of the other Halloween cupcakes were dark, get a load of these. Bite into the jet black cupcake and frosting to reveal a crimson center… muahaha. Get the recipe here.

15. Hungry Happenings‘ Ultimate Cheesecake Stuffed Halloween Cupcakes
