There are certain foods that we look forward to each season and yellow squashes are definitely one of them! Sometimes referred to as “summer squashes,” these little yellow guys are so versatile, BUT so many people limit themselves to just casseroles. There are so many yellow squash recipes and ways to prepare them, so we decided to put together a list of our absolute favorites to hopefully give you some summer meal inspiration. Check ’em out, and happy cooking!

3. Cooking Classy‘s Yellow Squash Casserole
We know we gave casseroles a hard time at the beginning, but we definitely don’t mean to say that they’re not a good idea with yellow squashes. There’s a reason casseroles are such a common and popular way to prepare yellow squashes – they’re mouthwateringly good! We thought Cooking Classy’s recipe was the one that stood out the most with attention to both flavor and texture, so don’t miss it. Get the recipe here!
