11 Ridiculously Refreshing Summer Cocktails

What’s up, Nomsters! When summer kicks into full swing and the weather is heating up, or even if it’s winter and you’re reminiscing on those warm summer nights, nothing says summer vibes like a delicious, refreshing cocktail! When it comes to drinks there are so many different variations on the theme, but after scouring the web for inspiration and actually making and taste testing a ton, we wanted to share our list of the best summer cocktails around! (In no particular order)

1. The Adventure Bite‘s Blackberry Lavender Champagne

The key to an awesome summertime cocktail is being light and refreshing, and The Adventure Bite nails it with this one. Lavender is definitely the trendy drink ingredient these days, but it works incredibly well with the blackberry flavor AND color! Don’t miss her recipe!

2. His Salty Dog‘s Rum Tiki Cocktail

We were thinking about including some classic tropical drinks in our list since they’re, well, classic. That is, until we stumbled across His Salty Dog’s Rum Tiki Cocktail, which had a cool, unique spin. Like most tropical drinks, it used rum as the base, but you actually muddle pineapple spears into the drink, and then top it with Angostura Bitters⁣, which tames the sweetness a bit and adds that subtle spice to it. This one is a definite must-try! Get the recipe here.

3. Stay Snatched‘s Easy Peach Bellini

We could have taken the easy route and added a mimosa recipe, but why do something basic when we can show you how to step your game up a notch? This Peach Bellini is made with Prosecco sparkling wine and a peach puree. Stay Snatched keeps it simple and sophisticated with this tasty, easy-to-follow recipe that’s perfect for a little brunch gathering in your backyard. Check out her recipe here!

4. The Blond Cook‘s Malibu Summer Rose Cocktail

The Malibu Summer Rose cocktail is basically a vacation in a glass. It makes you feel like you’re beachside in Hawaii even if you just have a lounge chair in your yard. It’s got all kinds of fruity flavors like orange, cherry, pineapple, peach and coconut, which blend seamlessly together. Perfect for your next staycation. Check out the recipe here!

5. Robert Sulaiman‘s Melon Ball Mojito

We couldn’t find the exact recipe for this one, but Robert Sulaiman has a video where he shows how to craft this cocktail that’s super easy to follow, so we couldn’t pass it up! We’re huge fans of throwing fresh fruit into drinks for that natural flavor infusion, plus the melon balls actually soak in some of the cocktail and so those are fun to eat, too! It’s kind of the same principle as something we used to do in college where you soak gummy bears in vodka overnight… (not saying you should try it, but you might want to try it).
