A lot of times it’s hard to find new salad inspirations, so we’ve put together a list of our favorite summer salad recipes from some awesome food bloggers across the interwebz that you can try for yourself or use as a springboard to get creative with your own creations! Let’s go!

1. Peas and Crayons‘ Cranberry Blueberry Salad with Blueberry Balsamic Dressing

This salad by Peas and Crayons definitely deserves to be on a list of the best summer salad recipes. It’s full of refreshing fruits like blueberries and mandarin oranges, and has a nice crunch from the cucumbers. You could even eat this plain, but the blueberry balsamic dressing does a great job bringing everything together. Get the recipe here!

2. Cooking Classy‘s The Best Salad Recipe

Cooking Classy goes with a more savory approach that includes cherry tomatoes, bacon, and croutons! If you’re looking for something that’s a bit more hearty, but stilly summery and fresh, look no further than her The Best Salad recipe! Get the recipe here!

3. Know Your Produce‘s Israeli Salad

In our quest for delicious variety, we came across Know Your Produce’s Israeli Salad, and can vouch that it’s incredible! You’ll notice that it is a take on a shirazi salad, and what makes this one awesome is how simple it is to make. You just finely dice 4 veggies, mix them with olive oil and lemon, and you’re basically done! Get the recipe here!

4. Munchkin Time’s Refreshing Watermelon Salad

If you’re more of a fruit person, hands down, this is the summer salad recipe for you. Just throw a bunch of fresh fruit into a bowl, add some blue agave syrup, and chow down! Get the recipe here!

5. Downshiftology‘s Berry Spinach Salad

Downshiftology’s summer salad recipe is a bit of a combination of numbers 1 and 4, but with the addition of goat cheese! Not sure about you, but we love any kind of crumbly cheese (blue cheese fans, here!) in salads with fruits because it balances the sweetness and acidity. The Berry Spinach Salad is another simple salad that looks and tastes awesome, and you can throw it together in less than 10 minutes. Get the recipe here!

6. Kristine’s Kitchen‘s Broccoli Salad

This may be a controversial statement, but broccoli doesn’t get enough love in salads. That’s why we got excited when we came across Kristine’s Kitchen’s Broccoli Salad! This salad has all the textures you could ever want, and the crunch and sweetness of the apples is something we haven’t seen in the other salads listed so far. Get the recipe here!

7. Melissa’s Southern Style Kitchen‘s Classic Wedge Salad

Who says you can’t reinvigorate a classic? This classic wedge salad is perfect for (socially distanced) summer gatherings. It’s already portioned out, and is absolutely crammed full of flavor, and that crisp freshness from the lettuce wedge provides the perfect balance. Get the recipe here!

8. Marisa Moore‘s Watermelon Feta Salad

Here’s another super simple, yet delicious summer salad recipe that you can literally throw together in minutes. There’s probably no fruit as refreshing during the summertime as watermelon, and mixing it with arugula and feta cheese is just the perfect combo. You can serve it plain or drizzle some balsamic vinegar to your liking, and that’s it! Get the recipe here!
